Cosentino’s Design Challenge is Now Open for Submissions

The Cosentino Group presents the 12th edition of the international Cosentino Design Challenge.

With the support of 24 local and international schools, universities and institutions, the Cosentino Design Challenge is an unmissable annual event that promotes and encourages creativity and talent among design and architecture students from all around the world.  Celebrating its 12th year, the Design Challenge is a great achievement for the Cosentino Group highlighting its commitment to the next generation of architects and designers.

Located in the Cosentino Madrid Center, students, teachers, renowned designers, and journalists all came together for the annual Design Challenge.

The challenge consisted of two categories, an Architecture brief asking students to reflect on “Cosentino and the dramatic arts”, and a Design brief exploring the idea of “Cosentino and light.” In both categories, students were asked to include a product manufactured by Cosentino; the Silestone® natural quartz surface, the Dekton® ultracompact surface and/or the Sensa® protected granite surface.

The project submission period opened on 1 October 2017 and closes on the 1 June 2018. All projects must be submitted in digital format via the competition website.
